How to order
Found the perfect customizable item or items for your project? Here are some questions to ask yourself before you place an order:
Which product(s) would you like to order?
- Which type of item(s) would you like? (ie: "Cutting Board", "Ceramic Tile")
- Does your item have any special options?
- What size items?
- How many of each item would you like?
- We offer hundreds of different items, so you're sure to find something you'll love!
- Many items have several different colors, finishes or sizes.
- Many of our products come in different sizes and dimensions, and it's important that we know which product you want.
What would you like printed on your items?
- Will you be creating a design for your items?
- Would you like all your items to have the same image?
- Is the image already in a digital format?
- Is your product compatible with your image?
- Would you like to be sent a color-proof of the final image?
- Are any of your images copyright protected (e.g., from a professional photographer or book)?
- Would you like any additional text or background coloring on top of the provided image?
- If you'd rather not, you can use one of our stock images or let our design experts help you create the perfect layout for your project!
- We can easily do each piece in your order with a different image, so let us know what you'd like on each individual item.
- We are able to scan smaller images and works, and larger works and canvases can be photographed for a small additional fee.
- Many items require images to be a specific shape, such as round, square, or rectangular. We can provide templates for strangely shaped items, and will aid you in cropping your image if needed. For cropping tips, see our Cropping and Proportion Guide.
- Although we do our best to match the colors in your work, a color-proof is a great way to make sure that you like the sublimated image as much as the original with minimal extra cost and delay.
- Ink Differently does not reproduce copyrighted images and logos without the proper permission. By submitting an image or logo to us, you are assuring us that you have obtained permission to reproduce the image from any copyright holder(s).
- Let us know the exact wording (double check for spelling!) and the font/size you'd like.
What else do we need to know?
- How will you be sending us your image?
- Do you need your items delivered by a certain deadline?
- To where will we be shipping the order?
- Who should we contact if there are any questions and concerns?
- We'll happily take source material in any form, but sending physical media like CDs or paper copies back and forth will require some extra time. If you'd like to avoid the wait (and shipping/scanning costs), and get your images to us as soon as possible, take a look at our guidelines on sending files to learn more about sending us a digital copy of your image.
- Turnaround times vary depending on the size and intricacy of your order, as well as choices such as color-proofing and muraling. Contact us for information about rush orders.
- We are happy to ship orders to you using whatever method you'd prefer. In addition, local pickup is available for some orders (we're located just outside Denver, CO), contact us to find out if your order is eligible. Just let us know how we can best get your product back to you!
- We hope every order goes smoothly, but due to the custom nature of our products, we will likely need to contact you during the production process. Please give us an email address or a phone number, just in case!
